premier wedding & events band

With a huge setlist ranging from 50's Swing & Jive classics, through to 90's, 00's and modern classics, Green Means Go! can cover all styles, tastes and events - from making your wedding reception a night to remember for all your guests, to just a great night out! Check out some of our videos below - there really is nothing like a Green Means Go night!

Why Green Means Go? We're professional, well rehearsed, smart and accomplished. Professional sound and lighting also makes a big difference, helping to make the whole night complete. We’re reliable, and sporting the same line up since the very start all those years ago, we sound as polished and tight as you could ever expect. With over 100 years of experience across our various instruments, you know that famous song you want at your big day is going to sound exactly right.

We're also independent and not linked to any events corporation, so you can be sure Green Means Go at your event will be tailored specifically to your needs and wishes - check out some of our recent testimonials for yourself! We’re an entirely legitimate, registered tax-paying outfit, with £10m public liability insurance - so you can rest easy knowing we’re not a “bunch of cowboys Ted!”

We also don't play along to pre-recorded backing tracks and pretend it's 'live'. We're the full, real deal. Check out some of our videos - all recorded 'actually live'.

Oh, and we're not fussy or precious, we'll play to anyone who feels like singing and dancing (we're good like that).

Green Means Go Promo Video

We love to show you what it's like to have Green Means Go at your wedding or event: seriously good fun! Here’s a few of our recent highlights…

A traditional Scottish serenade to cap off an incredibly fun night in a stunning setting? Yes please...

Anne Marie, Chris, and a surprise that was months in the making. Last October, Chris came to us with a bold plan. When your new wife-to-be is a big Mumford and Sons fan, and you want to do something special for your second dance, what do you do?

You spend months secretly learning to play the banjo, and weeks sneaking off to rehearse with Green Means Go, that's what.

Set in the stunning Cabra Castle, with a rocking first dance, a Metallica surprise for the groom, and hours of singing, dancing and general shenanigans - we can confirm: those kilts were worn 'traditionally' - it was definitely a night to remember.

What an incredible night with Melissa, Vince and all their guests at the stunning Ulster Museum!

What an unbelieveable night with these two! It's fair to say we grew quite fond of Laura & Séamus, and with Séamus' brother Patrick singing The Beatles' 'Real Love' for their first dance, it was a special evening all round!
A beautiful night had with the brilliant Catherine & Francis at the stunning Riverdale Barn. Dancing, singing, floral headband exchanges and trouser legs pulled up, AC/DC style. Excellent fun! (And as usual, all the audio was recorded there and then, on the night).

Best band ever! You guys were amazing and a huge highlight of our day!

— The Poet Bar & Grill
Green Means Go were booked for our charity fundraiser. The guys were very professional, easy to deal with, and meticulous when it came to setting up and sound checks.

They stole the show at our event and we had many of our guests contact us during and after the event to say how great the music was.

Green Means Go gained many fans that night!

I would definitely recommend them!
— Jill Robb, Origin Digital
